Vintage SANDOR Gold Plated Hand Painted Blue Flower Brooch Pin. Sandor was founded in 1938 in New York by Sandor Goldberger. His head designer, Beatrice McGowan created most of the floral designs like this one. Sandor was well-known for their high quality workmanship and the use of Gold plating to keep their jewelry looking like new. This flower brooch is no exception. Blue enameled petals with a green enameled center and heavy Yellow Gold plating on the back of the brooch as well as the sides of the petals make this 1950's piece stand out. Brooch measures 2 Inches in diameter.
