This vintage ca. 1940's ring has an open design featuring Mekkala(h), the Goddess of Lightning with lightning bolts coming from her hand and the Dancing Angel holding a long curved garland behind her back. Niello refers to a hand carved design technique, that uses a black enamel-like substance that consists of sulphur, copper, silver and lead. These pieces are usually made with high-grade silver.
