Originally designed by master sculptor Arthur Möeller in 1948, “Wayside Harmony”, also known as “Just Sittin-Boy”, depicts a tender scene of a young boy seated calmly on a fence, his mouth open in song as a cheerful bird perched beside him appears to join in. The boy is grounded with both feet resting firmly, creating a peaceful, rooted presence that reflects the harmony of nature and childhood.

This edition, produced under the TMK‑5 trademark (used from 1972 to 1979), reflects the detailed craftsmanship and warmth that define the M.I. Hummel line. It is also affectionately known as “Just Sittin-Boy.”

Crafted in hand-painted porcelain in West Germany. Measures approximately 5″ tall. Signed “M. I. Hummel” on the base. Listed in the Second Edition Official M.I. Hummel Price Guide for $150–$220.

Condition: Displays some crazing limited to the base (top and bottom only). Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Fast shipping and careful handling.
