Vintage 1950's Rudolph WEISS Clear Rhinestone Evening Wear Wedding Brooch Pin. This gorgeous Weiss brooch is over 70 years old and looks like new. The sign of a great quality jewelry maker, Rudolph Weiss, founded his company in 1949 in Kaufbeuren, West Germany, the hub of many high-end costume jewelry makers and factories. Names such as Christian Dior, Albert Weiss, Schiaparelli and Coro Craft, had some of their pieces made in Kaufbeuren. Rudolph Weiss was well known for his intricate quality designs and colorful brooches. This brooch is marked with the word Weiss in an oval cartouche.
